Free and Premium

The free plan keeps a budget. Premium looks at it closely.

Vukassa is free to use, properly free: as many envelopes as you need, goals, net worth, subscriptions, all of it offline. Premium adds the depth — your monthly recap, the full analysis of your spending month after month, statement import, receipt scanning, the shared budget and the projections.

Monthly

€5.99per month

No commitment, cancel whenever you like.

Yearly

33% off

€47.99instead of €71.88per year

That is €4 per month.

Subscriptions are taken out in the app, through the App Store or Google Play.

The free plan has no time limit: it does not turn into a trial after a few weeks.

Every new account opens with 30 days of Premium, no card required.

What Premium adds

Feature by feature, what the subscription actually changes. The comparison below is where the numbers are.

  • Your end-of-month recap

What your month really came to, and what keeps happening month after month.

A month you read back is a month you do not repeat: the same overruns keep returning, and seeing them written down is often enough to fix them.

  • A shared budget

Someone close joins your space: same envelopes, same goals, each on their own phone.

Together, no more “did you log the groceries?”: each of you enters from your own phone and the budget stays the same one.

  • Statement import

Your bank statement becomes your transactions: every line filed into the right envelope, in seconds. The file never leaves your phone.

An evening of typing becomes two minutes — and that is often what decides whether a budget survives its third month.

  • Receipt scanning

Amount, date, merchant: the photo fills the entry in for you.

The expense gets logged at the till, not in the evening while you try to remember the amount.

  • The full analysis of your spending

Each envelope's pace, your breakdown, your habits, what keeps repeating — and how you compare with proven budgeting rules.

One month on its own says nothing; six months side by side show the habit, and it is the habit that costs.

  • Full history

Every past budget, with no month limit.

Comparing this January with last January only works if both are still there.

  • Unlimited transactions

Detail as many expenses as you like, every month, without ever counting your lines.

An accurate budget means writing everything down. With no cap, you detail what you like without choosing between two expenses.

  • Unlimited goals

As many savings goals as you like.

Your plans do not queue up: the trip, the safety cushion and the car all move forward at once.

  • The goal simulator

At this pace, you're there in March. At a little more, December.

Knowing the date changes what you set aside today: a dated goal holds, a vague one gets forgotten.

  • Unlimited net worth

As many assets and liabilities as you track, each with its full history.

What you own and what you owe in one place: it is the only way to see whether your situation is rising or falling.

  • Net worth projection

See your net worth 3, 6 and 12 months ahead.

A loan going down and savings going up do not cross by chance — you see when.

  • Spending analyzer

Answers “can I afford this?” in two seconds, envelope by envelope.

The question comes up in front of the price tag, not in the evening. The answer counts what is really left until the end of the month.

  • Spending calendar

See your spending day by day.

Your spending is not spread out, it piles up on a few days. Seeing a whole month explains the hard end of months.

  • Automatic tax provision

For the freelance profile: a share of every business income set aside, at your rate.

A freelancer's tax lands long after the income. Set aside on every payment, it stops being a surprise.

Subscriptions are taken out from the app

Vukassa uses in-app purchases on the App Store and Google Play: you pay with the method already set up on your phone, and you manage the subscription where you manage all the others. Nothing is paid for on this site.

The apps are not published yet — both buttons will come alive on release day.

What each plan allows

Line by line, no asterisks. The free plan's limits are the ones the app actually enforces.

Trial, cancellation, billing

The apps are not published yet: subscriptions open with them. These answers describe how it is meant to work — the free trial, though, is already in place.

  • Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account opens with 30 days of Premium, no card and nothing to activate. The trial is extended if needed so that it covers your first full monthly budget: the point is that you judge on a whole month, not on a demo. When it ends, the account goes back to Free, with nothing charged.
  • Where do you subscribe?
In the app, through the App Store or Google Play. Nothing is paid for on this site — that is why the “Subscribe” buttons on this page are disabled.
  • How do I cancel?
From your store's subscription settings, like any other subscription on the phone. There is nothing to ask us and nobody to convince. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Can I switch from monthly to yearly?
Yes, and both ways, from the store's subscription settings. The store handles the plan change and the pro rata adjustment.
  • I changed phones or reinstalled the app.
The subscription follows your App Store or Google Play account, not the device: “Restore purchases”, in the app's settings, finds it again. Your data comes back with your Vukassa account.
  • What happens to my budget if I stop Premium?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is archived on your behalf. Your budgets, your goals, your net worth and your history all stay put; the free plan's limits simply come back, and they only apply to what you create next — you can no longer add a fourth active goal, for instance, but the three you have remain yours. Only the history narrows to the current month and the previous one, and it opens up again in full the day you go back to Premium.
